Getting Started

Create your first tile

Build your first tile in Tile Studio: pick a starting point, add content to columns, and save it to your library.

Tiles are the blocks you build and place on your customer account pages. There are two ways to start: pick a pre-built template, or build from scratch in Tile Studio. This guide builds one from scratch; templates get their own guide here.

Pick a starting point

Open Tile Studio and you will see starter layouts: a product grid, hero plus sections, column layouts, and sidebar arrangements. Pick one close to what you want, or hit Add section and build the structure yourself. The panel on the right is a live preview of how your tile will look once placed on your store.

Add content to your columns

Click Add content in each empty column. The Section controls the columns inside it: set two or three columns directly, or use fractional units to control their widths, for example one unit on the left and two on the right. Click out of the field to apply. Sections also carry alignment, spacing, appearance, and border settings; play with them to see what fits your brand.

Build the content

For a classic layout: an image on the left, and on the right an eyebrow plus heading and a button pair. Every element has its own settings. For the image you can set the aspect ratio, fit, and source. Column spacing and corner rounding live on the Column itself.

Name it and save

Give the tile a name and hit Save. Saving stores the tile in your library; it appears on your store only after you place it, which is the next guide.

Heads up about Discard: the Discard button reverts to your previous save, not your previous edit. If you have not saved yet, Discard throws away the whole tile. I have done this to myself more than once, so save early.

Next up: Place your tile on an account page.
